The following provisions apply only to consumers.
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without specifying a reason.
The withdrawal deadline is 14 days after the date on which the contract was confirmed by Vanbreda Risk & Benefits. In order to exercise your right to withdraw, you must send a signed and dated written declaration (e.g. by post or e-mail) informing us of your decision to withdraw from the contract to Vanbreda Risk & Benefits, Plantin en Moretuslei 297, 2140 Antwerp, Belgium. In this declaration you must provide your details and specify the contract you wish to withdraw from (including date of order/receipt and reference number). If you decide to use this option, we will send you confirmation of receipt of your withdrawal as soon as possible via a durable medium (e.g. via e-mail). In order to successfully observe the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient to send the declaration of your decision to exercise your right of withdrawal before expiry of the withdrawal deadline.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will promptly refund you all payments that you have made to us up to that point, and in any case no later than 14 days after we are informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract. We will refund you using the same means of payment as you used to make the original transaction, unless you have expressly stated otherwise. In any case we will not charge you any fees for such a refund.
If you asked us to start providing the insurance service during the withdrawal period, you must pay an amount equivalent to the service that had already been provided when the (notification of) withdrawal was served, compared with the full implementation of the contract.
